Ethics and Compliance is committed to upholding excellence, transparency, and high ethical standards, ensuring each decision and action at the Institute is rooted in its core values, integrity, and strategic stewardship.
Our mission revolves around three core principles:
- Ethics is our moral compass, guiding us toward right decision-making and actions. By integrating Georgia Tech's values, we establish clear, deliberate standards for behavior, shaping both our actions and their underlying reasons.
- Compliance, in harmony with ethics, lays the foundation for seamlessly adhering to our values. Through structured training, efficient approval mechanisms, and streamlined processes, we facilitate alignment with our ethical benchmarks.
- Culture embodies the shared beliefs and behaviors that define our Institute. It's the underlying spirit that permeates every interaction across campus. Central to this culture, Ethics and Compliance works to cultivate an environment where Georgia Tech’s ethical values are actively practiced in our daily operations.
Together, with the entire Georgia Tech community, we strive to uphold these principles. By championing these values, we shape a positive future for Georgia Tech that is as distinguished as it is innovative.

Youth Programs Compliance & Safety
More than 50,000 minors (age 17 and under) attend a program sponsored by Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech” or the “Institute”) or conducted on the Georgia Tech campus. A special duty of care and supervision is required to protect our youngest learners. To help ensure a safe and healthy environment for all who participate, volunteer, or work in youth programs at Georgia Tech, the University System of Georgia (USG) and the Institute require all minor-focused programs be registered via Georgia Tech’s Youth Programs website.
