Wildlife Habitat Improvement Program (WHIP)
Application Period Now Open for the 2025 Funding Cycle
|
To qualify for funding, projects must:
1. Enhance ecolologically important wildlife habitat through control or management of noxious weeds;
2. Use a landscape scale approach;
3. Include areas with public hunting access; and,
4. Include a minimum 25 percent non-federal cash match
|
The deadline to submit an application is November 27th, 2024.
Applications must be submitted online through WebGrants (funding.mt.gov).

- County Weed Districts and Reservations are eligible to apply for the $7,500 Noxious Weed Program Grants. Submission deadline: January 6, 2025, 11:59 PM*
