ﺗﻔﺎھم ﺑﻣﻘر اﻟﻣدﯾرﯾﺔ اﻟﻌﺎﻣﺔ ﻟﺳوﻧﺎطراك ،ﺑﺣﺿور اﻟرﺋﯾس اﻟﻣدﯾر اﻟﻌﺎم ﻟﻣﺟﻣﻊ ﺳوﻧﺎطراك اﻟﺳﯾد رﺷﯾد
ﺣﺷﯾﺷﻲ ،وﻧﺎﺋﺑﺔ اﻟرﺋﯾس اﻟﻣﻛﻠﻔﺔ ﺑﺎﻻﺳﺗﻛﺷﺎف اﻟدوﻟﻲ ﻓﻲ ﺷرﻛﺔ ﺷﯾﻔرون اﻟﺳﯾدة ﻟﯾز ﺷوارز.
ﺗﺷ ّﻛل ھذه اﻟﻣذﻛرة ﻣﻧﺻﺔ ﻹﺟراء ﻣﻧﺎﻗﺷﺎت ﺣول ﻓرص ﺗطوﯾر اﻟﻣوارد ﻣن اﻟﻣﺣروﻗﺎت ﻓﻲ اﻟﻣﻧﺎطﻖ
ذات اﻻھﺗﻣﺎم اﻟﺗﻲ ﺗم ﺗﺣدﯾدھﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺣوﺿﻲ أھﻧﺎت وﺑرﻛﯾن .وﺳﯾﺗم ،ﻓﻲ ھذا اﻹطﺎر ،اﻟﺗرﻛﯾز ﻋﻠﻰ
اﻟﻛﻔﺎءة اﻟﻌﻣﻠﯾﺎﺗﯾﺔ ،واﻟﺗﻘﻧﯾﺎت واﻟﺗﻛﻧوﻟوﺟﯾﺎت اﻟراﺋدة ،وﻛذا أﻓﺿل اﻟﻣﻣﺎرﺳﺎت ﻓﻲ ﻣﺟﺎل اﻟﻣﺣﺎﻓظﺔ ﻋﻠﻰ
اﻟﺑﯾﺋﺔ واﻻﺳﺗداﻣﺔ.
وﻗد ﺻرح اﻟرﺋﯾس اﻟﻣدﯾر اﻟﻌﺎم ﻟﻣﺟﻣﻊ ﺳوﻧﺎطراك ،ﻋﻠﻰ ھﺎﻣش ھذا اﻟﺣدث ،ﻗﺎﺋﻼً" :ﻧﺣن ﻧرﺣب ﺑﮭذا
اﻟﺗﻌﺎون اﻟﺟدﯾد اﻟذي ﺗم ﺑﻌﺛﮫ اﻟﯾوم ﻣﻊ ﺷﯾﻔرون ،إﺣدى اﻟﺷرﻛﺎت اﻟراﺋدة ﻋﺎﻟﻣﯾًﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺻﻧﺎﻋﺔ اﻟﻧﻔط
واﻟﻐﺎز ،ﺣﯾث ﺳﯾﻣ ّﻛﻧﻧﺎ ھذا اﻟﺗوﻗﯾﻊ ﻣن اﻟﺗطﻠﻊ ﻧﺣو آﻓﺎق واﻋدة ﻓﻲ ﻣﺟﺎل ﺗطوﯾر اﻟﻘطﺎع اﻟﻣﻧﺟﻣﻲ

COMMUNIQUÉ DE PRESSE
Signature d’un Protocole d'Accord entre SONATRACH et Chevron
Alger, 13 juin 2024,
SONATRACH et la compagnie Chevron FEA International Ventures Ltd. ont procédé,
ce jour, à la signature d’un Protocole d’Accord au siège de la Direction Générale de
SONATRACH, en présence du Président Directeur Général de SONATRACH, Monsieur
Rachid HACHICHI et de la Vice-Présidente Exploration Internationale de Chevron,
Madame Liz SCHWARZE.
Ce protocole d’accord constitue une plateforme de discussion portant sur les possibilités
de développement des ressources en hydrocarbures des zones d’intérêts identifiées
dans les bassins de l’Ahnet et de Berkine. Dans ce cadre, l’accent sera mis sur
l’efficience opérationnelle, les techniques et technologies de pointe, ainsi que les
meilleures pratiques de préservation de l'environnement et de durabilité.
En marge de cet évènement, le Président Directeur Général de SONATRACH a
déclaré : « Nous nous félicitons de cette coopération nouvelle engagée aujourd’hui avec
Chevron, un des leaders mondiaux de l’industrie Oil & Gas. Cette signature permet
d’entrevoir des horizons prometteurs de développement du domaine minier national et
traduit notre ambition commune d’exploiter de manière responsable et durable les
ressources en hydrocarbures de notre pays ».
Pour sa part la Vice-Présidente Exploration Internationale de Chevron, Madame Liz
SCHWARZE s’est exprimée au sujet de cette signature : « L’Algérie possède un
système pétrolier de classe mondiale avec un potentiel de ressources pétrolières et
gazières significatives. Compte tenu des capacités reconnues de Chevron et son
expérience avérée dans le développement de toute forme de pétrole et de gaz, nous
sommes enthousiastes quant au potentiel de synergies et de partenariat que nous
pouvons créer avec SONATRACH. Cet accord constitue une étape importante et un
pas en avant qui nous permettra de collaborer, avec pour objectif, le développement
des ressources en hydrocarbures en Algérie. »

Signing of Heads of Agreement between SONATRACH and Chevron
Algiers, 13th June 2024,
SONATRACH and Chevron FEA International Ventures Ltd, signed, today, a Heads of
Agreement at SONATRACH's headquarters, in the presence of the Chairman & Chief
Executive Officer of SONATRACH, Mr. Rachid HACHICHI, and Chevron Global
Exploration Vice President, Ms. Liz SCHWARZE.
This Heads of Agreement constitutes a platform of discussion dealing with the
development opportunities of hydrocarbon resources in identified interest areas in the
basins of Ahnet and Berkine.
In this context, the emphasis will be placed on operational efficiency, cutting-edge
technological techniques as well as the best practices of environment preservation and
sustainability.
On the sidelines of this event, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
SONATRACH declared: “We welcome this new cooperation initiated with Chevron, one
of the world leaders of the oil and gas industry. This signing event opens the way to new
promising prospects of development of the national mining sector and expresses our
common ambition to develop, in a responsible and sustainable manner, the hydrocarbon
resources of our country ".
For her part, the Global Exploration Vice President of Chevron, Ms. Liz SCHWARZE,
declared about the agreement: « Algeria holds a world class petroleum system with the
potential for significant oil and gas resources. Given Chevron’s recognized capabilities,
and proven experience in the development of all forms of oil and gas, we are excited by
the prospective synergies and partnership we can create with SONATRACH. This
agreement is an important milestone and next step towards collaboration with the
objective of developing hydrocarbon resources in Algeria.”
