HD3HRSX
HIGH RESOLUTION VFAI LENS DAY/NIGHT
INDOOR MINIDOME CAMERA
The HD3HRSX incorporates the latest Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Digital
Noise Reduction (DNR) technology to produce extremely sharp, clear images
regardless of lighting levels. DNR removes noise artifacts from the image, improving
motion detection performance and enabling longer DVR recording times. Offering
600 TV lines of horizontal resolution with a minimum illumination of 0.05 lux, the
HD3HRSX captures the smallest details with outstanding accuracy.
Installation is fast and easy. The housing pieces snap together so there are no Surface Mount
screws to remove and the camera converts easily to a surface or flush mount for
direct installation to a ceiling, wall, or 2S electrical box. With the built-in “push and
turn” brackets no additional mounting hardware is required for flush mounting on
a ceiling or wall. The HD3HRSX comes with a 2.8–12 mm (F1.4) varifocal auto iris
(VFAI) lens for a wide range of viewing angles and a 3D axis gimbal provides 360°
of pan, 70° of tilt, and 360° of horizontal rotation for precise camera positioning.
A second video output and on-board OSD controller are provided for on-site
adjustments.

The HD3, HD4, and HDPR housing mounts can be used to install Honeywell’s 3 and
4-Series fixed minidome cameras to a variety of surfaces. They provide a wide range
of mounting options – to walls, ceilings, and a variety of indoor and outdoor surfaces.
The simple, solid design of these mounts is an installer’s first choice for ease of
HD3-MK1
installation. All wall and pendant mounts provide easy cable routing and the camera
and lens can be installed, adjusted, and tested without repositioning the housing.
The HD4 and HDPR Series mounts feature die cast aluminum construction, except
for the HDPR-WK2 which is aluminum. These mounts have a cool gray powder
coating except for the HDPR-WK1 and HDPR-WK2 which have a charcoal gray
powder coating. The HD3 Indoor Series mounts have polycarbonate construction HD4CHIP-WK
with off white powder coating. Depending on the camera model, these mounts are
designed for either outdoor or indoor applications. All are designed to perfectly
complement the low profile, fixed minidome cameras, making them the obvious
choice for architecturally sensitive installations.

These 17 and 19 inch monitors have colour LCD panels with a thin film transfer
(TFT) active matrix. The monitors automatically adapt to the appropriate input
resolution up to 1280 x 1024. The HMLCD17LX provides 1 x BNC, 1 x RCA and 1 x
VGA inputs. The HMLCD19LX provides 2 x BNC, 1 x S-Video, 1 x VGA inputs and 1
x BNC looping output. These support the use of digital video recorders (DVRs) and
PC applications. This multimode functionality—combined with a quick panel
response time to minimise ghosting in motion video, and high brightness and
contrast ratio—makes these monitors ideal for applications requiring a VGA display
with composite video capabilities.
They feature a rugged desktop stand and VESA-compliant mounting holes to easily
adapt to different wall and ceiling mounts. They automatically detect and display the
correct video format (NTSC or PAL) and are powered by an auto-ranging power
supply. Adjustments of standard monitor display parameters are made using
user-friendly on-screen menus and front panel controls.
Market Opportunities
With composite and VGA inputs, they are the perfect choice to pair with any
embedded or PC-based digital video recorder and is a direct replacement for both
CRT and PC monitors. Because they have a small form factor that efficiently
maximises the viewing area, it’s perfect for use in confined viewing areas.

Fusion IV Rev B DVR Series www.honeywellvideo.com
BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN ANALOG AND IP
The Fusion IV hybrid DVR Series sets a new standard for recording. Expanding beyond
the analog DVR role, Fusion IV bridges the gap between DVRs and NVRs; it is a full
featured hybrid digital recording system. The system is designed to record, search, and
transmit up to 32 channels of analog or IP video sources, up to 16 channels of audio,
and is remotely accessed using single site or powerful multi-site software.
Benefits of the system include significantly expanded support for digital video sources;
including IP cameras, network encoders and megapixel cameras. Fusion IV offers up
to 32 channels of hybrid (analog and/or IP) camera support. H.264 implementation
provides superior video quality with small file sizes for improved performance across
a network. Furthermore, H.264 is now a standard compression option for all cameras
recorded on the DVR.
Market Opportunities
Global market adoption of IP and megapixel camera technologies drive the
need for new surveillance capabilities offered by the Fusion IV DVR. Supporting
both analog and IP cameras, Fusion IV is ideal for systems requiring transition to
IP to maximize the cost-savings benefits associated with IP networking. Additional
benefits are realized for systems adding new capabilities such as unparalleled image
clarity using high definition and megapixel cameras. Applications include
educational, municipal and corporate campus environments, large retail and hotels
or resorts. When the need is for a hybrid digital recording solution, the answer is
the Fusion IV DVR.

Each HJC4000 can control up to 128 dome cameras or 128 channels from DVRs.
The HJC4000’s flexibility is enhanced with the option of slaving keyboard
controllers, allowing control from four separate locations.
With an ergonomically designed keypad and 2-line LCD display, the HJC4000 is
easy to learn and simple to use. Programming can be done directly through the
keypad and LCD display or through a simple web browser. Standard PTZ camera
functions such as set and recall of presets, pan, tilt and zoom, tours and PTZ
menu are easily accessible and managed by an operator. Additionally, higher level
dome functions such as home preset, remote reset, privacy zones and mimic
tours are also available to operators when needed.
While in DVR mode, users can easily access standard recording and playback
functions, display modes, navigate through menu screens, and control alarms.
The HJC4000 makes it possible for operators to control their DVRs without the
need for a PC and client software and offers joystick control of PTZs connected
to the DVRs.
Market Opportunities
The HJC4000 is an excellent choice for small- to mid-size installations where PTZ
domes and DVRs are used together. The HJC4000 offers the ability to manage a
system from a single controller that is simple and easy to use. Users can greatly
benefit from shorter learning curves and minimal key sequences. The end result is
greater control of their video security systems.
