Asking itself what the impact of the #Paris2024 Olympics will be on #Europeanairspace is EUROCONTROL, which since last summer began preparing together with all stakeholders to better manage the entire route network in Europe during the #Olympics. The #Paris #airports are among the busiest in Europe, Charles De Gaulle's HUB is always in first or second place, the Olympics will take place from Friday 26 July 2024 to Sunday 11 August 2024, in the middle of summer , in the busiest time of the year. With less than 2 months until the Games begin on 26 July, #EUROCONTROLAviationTrends examines how #EUROCONTROL's #NetworkManager has worked closely with #DSNA and neighboring air navigation service providers to assist, forecast , plan and coordinate actions to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the European airline network during the games. Meticulous preparations are part of the Network Manager's standard approach to managing special events to minimize their impact on the network, particularly major finals or sporting competitions which classically involve the need for additional flights or airspace restrictions.
