À propos

I am a Senior Economist at the OECD Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs, leading several initiatives on the inclusion of LGBTI+ individuals (http://oe.cd/lgbti) and of racial/ethnic minorities. Beyond this role, I have contributed to the OECD’s expertise in gender equality (http://oe.cd/gender) and youth employment (https://www.oecd.org/employment/youth/). I was also responsible for organizing the International Diversity Forum, an OECD conference focused on inclusive policies for discriminated groups. In 2022, I was honoured with the “LGBT+ Role Model Ally - Leader” award by L’Autre Cercle, a leading NGO advocating for LGBTI+-inclusive workplaces.

My academic credentials include a doctorate from the Ecole Polytechnique and an "Habilitation to Supervise Research" (HDR) from Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University, the highest academic qualification in France exemplifying proficiency in leading high-quality scientific projects. Additionally, I hold three Master’s degrees: a Master “Analysis and Policy in Economics” (APE) from the Paris School of Economics, a Master of Science in Management (Grande Ecole) from HEC Paris and, after my studies at the University of Cologne (Germany), a CEMS Master in International Management. I further obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Sorbonne University.

Prior to joining the OECD in 2016, I dedicated 8 years to academic research and teaching at both Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University and the Paris School of Economics, where I continue as an associate professor. My research primarily revolves around labour market discriminations and development economics and has been featured in top-tier journals like the Economic Journal, PNAS, World Bank Economic Review, and World Development. Of particular note is my exploration into anti-Muslim discrimination in Christian-heritage countries, with a compilation of initial key findings released in a book by Harvard University Press in 2016. My research journey on this and other issues continues with papers either already published or currently in the pipeline.
