On this #TravelTuesday, let’s sail on a journey to Skellig Michael! 🌊⛰️ Just off Ireland’s coast, this UNESCO #WorldHeritage Site, designated in 1996, is known for its stone “beehive” huts, built by monks in the 6th century. They climbed over 600 steps to reach their cliff-top monastery, showing incredible devotion and pursuit of spirituality. The island is also a seabird sanctuary, home to puffins, gannets, and other protected species. While Skellig Michael is remote, it’s not unknown!
