Inauguration of CMA Terminals Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi. 🇦🇪 Rodolphe SAADE inaugurated CMA TERMINALS KHALIFA PORT alongside His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council. Managed by a joint venture between the CMA CGM Group and Abu Dhabi Ports, this new state-of-the-art terminal marks a major milestone in our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and strengthening global trade connections in the region. Key features of CMA Terminals Khalifa Port: ✅ A capacity of 1.8 million TEUs. ✅ Cutting-edge technology for decarbonization and efficiency, including electric RTGs cranes and solar-powered facilities. ✅ Ready for rail connectivity, enhancing Khalifa Port’s position as a major gateway for the region. By engaging with the food aid organizations, we identified a clear need: improving logistical efficiency to maximize their impact. Embracing an out-of-the-box mindset, the Fondation CMA CGM leveraged the Group’s expertise to go beyond financial support and deliver tangible, lasting solutions. After two years of dedication, we are proud to inaugurate l’Entrepôt Solidaire, a state-of-the-art shared warehouse in Marseille, designed for food aid organizations. This unprecedented social innovation became a reality through the joint efforts of the Foundation, public partners, and five major French organizations, uniting them under one roof for the first time. Powered by a full-time CEVA Logistics coordinator and a substantial investment from the CMA CGM Foundation, this project marks a significant milestone in our commitment to addressing food insecurity. In a context of increasing needs, key players such as Les Restos du Coeur, Croix-Rouge française, Secours populaire français, Andès les épiceries solidaires, and Secours Catholique-Caritas France will have access to a secure 5,000 m² logistics infrastructure, enabling the distribution of 3,200 tons of food to those who need it most. A significant milestone in strengthening CMA CGM’s strategic footprint in Saudi Arabia. 🇸🇦 Rodolphe SAADE, Chairman and CEO of the CMA CGM Group, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment and Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services. This ambitious agreement aims to develop port infrastructure in the Red Sea, logistics services, air freight, and multimodal platforms to enhance Saudi Arabia's inland logistics capabilities. With 40 years of presence in Saudi Arabia, 3 offices, 11 weekly services, and over 2,100 staff members, the Group connects major Saudi ports—such as Jeddah, Dammam, and Jubail—to global markets, and provides innovative end-to-end logistics solutions through Ceva Logistics.
