Thrilled to showcase TANARUZ's groundbreaking work in revolutionizing boat production with 3D printing technology. Get an inside look at TANARUZ's innovative process, highlighting how they've managed to cut down production times from 6 months to just 7 days while maintaining exceptional quality. The print involves 3600 unique layers, resulting in one of the world's most luxurious and complex 3D printed boats. We're proud to have supported TANARUZ throughout this project, helping bring this vision to life with our dedicated service. Deploying our #AdaOne solution also involved working on the digital chain and addressing real-world challenges in the deployment process, which allowed us to improve the entire boat manufacturing process. This achievement wouldn't be possible without the advanced technology from ABB. TANARUZ uses an ABB robot and RobotStudio® software to seamlessly transfer the program to the robot, ensuring precision and efficiency in every layer of the print. From concept to completion, see how TANARUZ is pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the leisure boat industry. #Robotics #AdditiveManufacturing #3Dprinting #innovation #boating #Sustainability | RAW Idea Zander Tocher

Adjust the deposition width during the print can simplify the deposition process while improving the quality of the results. We're excited to showcase a new application of #AdaOne's variable bead width feature, demonstrated on the MDAC10 cell in collaboration with Massive Dimension. This video highlights the "single wall" slicing mode, which allows for variable bead widths directly from a solid 3D model. The tool path automatically adapts to the model’s geometry, enabling intricate bead patterns with ease. If you want to learn more about Massive Dimension, feel free to directly contact Josh Allen. #software #robotics #additivemanufacturing #3dprinting

Introducing AdaOne's Feature of the Day: Multi-process manufacturing. #AdaOne makes it possible to create robot programs combining multiple manufacturing processes in just a few steps. Robot cells can be configured with one or more process heads, for example a pellet extruder and a milling spindle. If even more flexibility is needed, each process head can have more than one manufacturing process and tool center point. What's new in AdaOne: Multiple Process Heads: Import and manage multiple process heads per cell, switching seamlessly between them. Multiple Processes Per Head: Apply one or multiple processes to each head, enhancing versatility. #software #robotics #additivemanufacturing #3dprinting

Automatic Part Segmentation for Perfect Process Repeatability As additive manufacturing technology advances, trajectory complexity increases. Many trajectory generations now use variable parameters, introducing a dynamic element to the printing process, commonly known as "non-planar printing." To ensure process stability, adjustments in energy input, material, or speed are necessary. However, some processes and materials have very narrow stability ranges, making it essential to keep parameters fixed to maintain a consistent printing process. This constraint often limits the applicability of non-planar printing for many processes and parts.   AdaOne tackles this challenge with **Abanico**, a feature that automatically segments a design into printable sub-elements with consistent bead dimensions. This functionality enhances the software by integrating both design and programming aspects to provide a seamless user experience. Introducing #AdaOne's Feature of the Day: Abanico (experimental). The Abanico slicing strategy offers a cutting-edge path planning method for printing curved pipes. This experimental feature segments parts into volumes with varying orientations, allowing for seamless printing of curved parts without varying layer height. Key Features: Auto-Segmentation: Automatically segments the part into volumes to enable planar printing on any curved part. Minimized Tool Reorientation: Slices curved tubular parts with minimal tool reorientation, resulting in horizontally sliced tool paths. Flexible Slicing Modes: Choose between Normal, Surface, and Single wall slicing modes. Experience the future of curved pipe printing with the Abanico slicing strategy. Try it out today and explore new possibilities in additive manufacturing! #software #robotics #additivemanufacturing #3dprinting

Complex geometries often require a multi-step manufacturing approach to handle different materials and ensure consistent production. Additionally, in series production with additive manufacturing, the goal is to optimize efficiency by refining production time and setup. AdaOne streamlines this process by allowing users to optimize print sequences, thereby enhancing both complex part production and overall organizational efficiency. Introducing AdaOne's Feature of the Day: Manufacturing Sequencer. Streamline your robotic manufacturing process with #AdaOne's Manufacturing Sequencer, a powerful tool designed for creating complex robot programs by combining multiple tool paths in series or parallel. Key Features: - Create Tool Path Sequences: Automatically include all tool paths and manage them in the right panel to set the printing order. - Individual Settings: Each tool path retains its settings, such as speed and interpolation, ensuring consistency. - Flexible Execution: Choose to execute tool paths in parallel or series. - Collision Avoidance: Set retraction and approach moves to prevent collisions. - Travel Speed: Adjust robot travel speed for moves between tool paths. Enhance your production efficiency and flexibility with AdaOne's Manufacturing Sequencer. Whether manufacturing multiple parts simultaneously or building complex geometries in stages, this feature brings precision and control to your workflow. #Software #Robotics #AdditiveManufacturing #3DPrinting

Robot vs. Gantry for LFAM — Additive Engineering Solutions says why not both? AES has welcomed its first AM robot for large-format additive manufacturing. Co-owner Austin Schmidt (pictured in green) says the company has been looking at more versatile AM systems for years. CEAD Group provided the robotic AM system to AES as part of a partnership in which the company will serve as CEAD’s North American demo site. The AES team adopted software from ADAXIS for robotic AM to realize the system’s potential for multiplanar 3D printing. During a recent visit to AES, AM editor-in-chief Peter Zelinski learned from Schmidt what the team is coming to understand about the differences between large-format gantry additive manufacturing and large-format AM on a robot. Read more about those differences and watch "Robot Vs. Gantry for Large-Format Additive Manufacturing" at the link in comments. 👇 ___ #additivemanufacturing #3Dprinting #automation #robots #composites #LFAM #tooling
