CSS positioning question

(In Firefox, at least...having some issues in other browsers), you can see the quotes in blocks. There is an opening quotation mark, and it is positioned exactly where I want it. I am trying to get the closing mark to look the sdame on the other end, but I can not seem to get it to work. When I try to position it lower, so that it comes out of the box a bit like the to one does, it just increases the size of the box. any ideas on this?

}
