What I’m trying to do

The Theme began to disappear; When updating to obsidian v1.4.6 it got worse, it repeatedly crashes, leaving only the title of my note, and a pop-up window appears saying something like that that is manipulated externally and periodically. For now I was able to get my job back. But you’re working and bang! everything turns white! Oh, I have a Mac in case it’s indicative. I hope you give me a hand! thank you

Are you using macOS Sonoma? Is your vault in the iCloud Drive folder (iCloud Drive/Obsidian/{VAULTNAME} ?

If so, you need to turn off Optimize Mac Storage (in the iCloud Drive settings), and make sure all the files and folders in your vault are downloaded locally (no cloud icons in the Finder).

After installing sonoma vault won't load

Looking in the Obsidian iCloud folder I can see the upgrade reset all the files to be cloud only vs local. I suspect the solution is to download all the files. If you hit control on a folder you can select download now or simply enter a folder which will trigger macos to start downloading all the files in the directory. I’ll confirm that is the solve when my obsidian files finish downloading. It is moving really really slowly so was probably triggering all the time outs.
