Robin Carolan has provided the original score for the upcoming gothic horror movie Nosferatu. The film is written and directed by Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse) and stars Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Emma Corrin, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Simon McBurney, Ralph Ineson and Willem Dafoe. The movie based on F. W. Murnau’s 1922 classic of the same title tells a tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake. Eggers is also producing the project with Jeff Robinov (Air, Hypnotic), John Graham (The Instigators), Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Mrs. Doubtfire) and Eleanor Columbus (Yes, God, Yes). Carolan has previously co-scored Eggers’ last feature, The Northman, with Sebastian Gainsborough. Nosferatu will be released in theaters nationwide on December 25, 2024 by Focus Features.
