Tamar-kali (Mudbound, Shirley, The Assistant, Come Sunday, The Lie) has composed the original score for the upcoming drama Palmer. The film is directed by Fisher Stevens (Before the Flood, Stand Up Guys) and stars Justin Timberlake, Juno Temple, Alisha Wainwright, June Squibb and Ryder Allen. The movie revolves around a ormer high school football star who went from hometown hero to convicted felon as he returns home to Louisiana, where he moves back in with his grandmother who raised him and forms an unlikely bond with an outcast boy from a troubled home. Cheryl Guerriero (Pledge This!) wrote the screenplay. Sidney Kimmel (Hell or High Water, Lars and the Real Girl) is producing the project with Charles B. Wessler (Green Book, There’s Something About Mary), John Penotti (Crazy Rich Asians, Greta), Charlie Corwin (The Squid and the Whale, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saint) and Daniel Nadler. Palmer will premiere on January 29, 2021 exclusively on Apple TV+
