Currently, Virginia Tech women's basketball coach Megan Duffy has two Top 100 commitments in the Class of 2025 with Katie Sears and Amani Jenkins. Saturday, according to Talia Goodman of On3, another Top 100 recruit according to ESPN's 2025 HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings, at No. 43, narrowed her list down to six schools with the Hokies on the list.

Point guard Caliyah DeVillasee listed her Top 6 schools with Clemson, Georgia, Cincinnati, West Virginia, and North Carolina on it. Two of the five other schools with the Hokies are ACC foes and the Maryland native will make her decision on Sept. 1.

DeVillasee, who plays at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, is a guard with good court vision, she can get to the basket and finish as well as being a catch-and-shoot shooter. You can watch some of her highlights from last week below.

The 5-foot-7 Owings Mills, Maryland native spoke about all six schools, and here is what she had to say about Virginia Tech,

“That’s another all-women staff. I love them too. I love all the people that are there. The coaching staff is amazing. CoachItoro Coleman came from UNC, and CoachSharnee [Zoll-Norman]came from and Coach Jen Hoover came from. I was close to all of them and they just came together and made it better. Their understanding of the game is amazing because they’ve all been at the pro level. When I went there, I could tell that they wanted me and I could feel that. The communication from them to their players was amazing and even though it’s a new coaching staff, players still stayed. That says a lot.”

A decision is just 15 days away for DeVillasee and getting another Top 100 guard in the class would be big for Duffy and the future.
