ICEYE is excited to announce Dwell Precise, the industry’s highest fidelity 25 cm product. The increased resolution will allow ICEYE’s customers to identify objects and features on the Earth’s surface with far greater clarity than before, all while benefiting from the day/night all-weather imaging capabilities of #SAR. “Dwell Precise represents the culmination of the industry’s best imaging capabilities and adds significant depth to our line of Dwell products,” said John Cartwright, ICEYE’s SVP and Head of Data Product. We are wrapping up four successful days at the Japan International Aerospace Exhibition! This week, we were honored to attend the Northern Lights geospatial event at the Finnish Embassy in Washington, D.C. We heard thought-provoking presentations from Finnish companies in the geospatial and space sector, and Andy Read, our VP of Government Solutions, presented how ICEYE is transforming disaster response. Eric Jensen, CEO of ICEYE US, joined CNBC's Manifest Space podcast hosted by Morgan L Brennan to discuss how ICEYE works with insurance companies, intelligence, defense and civil society organizations around the world. "Our imagery allows us to see what infrastructure is damaged, which roads are damaged, which ones are passable," describes Eric. "In the case of Helene, we're working with federal, state, local government agencies and also NGOs. We've directed over 60 rescue and emergency medical supply helicopter missions," he explains. ICEYE SAR satellites can also be used to help assess large areas of land. Eric shares an example of how the Brazilian Air Force monitored illegal deforestation, "They're using our satellites to map and assess what illegal deforestation is happening in real-time. They've then created an analogue to what impact to GDP those illegal activities have, then justified resources to either interdict or prevent that from happening in the future." We are excited to announce the availability of our Flood Insights product in Taiwan, through an analytics data reselling partnership with Interactive Digital Technologies Inc.
