FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Ireland’s Data Protection Commission has launched an investigation into Grok, the AI service of social media platform X, owned by Elon Musk.
The inquiry will examine whether Grok has been using personal data from European citizens, raising concerns about compliance with EU privacy regulations.
This follows a similar investigation last year, which was dropped after X pledged to cease using such data. The current probe underscores ongoing scrutiny of data practices and transparency in AI development.
