FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Cyprus has been ranked 67th in the 2025 World Happiness Report, marking a drop of three places compared to its 2024 position.
Finland continues to hold the top spot as the happiest country in the world for the eighth consecutive year, followed by Denmark and Iceland in second and third place, respectively.
The report also highlights a significant decline for Greece, which fell from 64th place in 2024 to 81st in 2025.
These rankings reflect various factors, including GDP per capita, social support, life expectancy, freedom, generosity, and perceptions of corruption, which are used to evaluate overall happiness levels globally.
