Jinkx Monsoon has a crystal that 'drag idols' whisper into — including RuPaul: 'She had a lot to say'

Jinkx Monsoon's crystal is a place for legends, okay?

The RuPaul's Drag Race season 5 winner and returning All Stars 7 queen exclusively shows off her "Drag Positivity Crystal" (that she's had since she was a teenager), explaining in an interview during EW's AS7 cover story shoot (above) that the precious gem contains the secrets of many of her queer foremothers.

"Whenever I meet drag queens from previous generations, I ask them to put a little wish or a little thought into it for me," Jinkx explains. "Lots of my drag idols have whispered into this crystal. It was sitting on my makeup station throughout all of season 5.... I said that if I make it to the Tic Tac lunch with Ru, that's when I'll ask her to whisper into my crystal. And she did! She had a lot to say."

Jinkx's AS7 sisters tell EW that they, too, have beloved items from the Drag Race set — though many of them didn't arrive to film with them in their possession; Yvie Oddly admits she stole a hot glue gun from season 11, while The Vivienne made off with her iconic "collusion" Snatch Game card from Drag Race UK season 1.

"Girl, I have stolen so much s--- from RuPaul. I've stolen lashes, I've stolen makeup. Yeah, we get some Anastasia, but then I'm like, I want that thing over there, too," All Stars 4 winner Monét X Change recalls. "I've stolen fabric, I stole wigs, if RuPaul came to my house right now I'd probably owe him a fat check for all the things I've stolen from my three times on Drag Race."
