It's tossed salad and scrambled eggs. They're calling again. Because Paramount+ just dropped the first trailer for their reboot of Frasier, starring Kelsey Grammer in the role he made famous. Jack Cutmore-Scott, Kelsey Grammer, and Nicholas Lyndhurst on 'Frasier'. paramount+ According to the series' logline, Frasier, once again filmed in front of a live studio audience, follows Dr. Crane as he leaves Seattle for a fresh chapter in Boston filled with new challenges, new relationships, and an old dream or two. One of those new challenges is an old relationship, with his son Freddy, played by Jack Cutmore-Scott. Freddy's got a girlfriend, Eve (Jess Salgueiro), whom he never told his dad about. He seems determined to keep them apart. To the delight of fans of the original Frasier (and, of course, Cheers, where the character originated), Dr. Crane hasn't changed a bit. But for all his snobbery (there's no sitting on the couch with its Christian Lacroix pillows... at least not in jeans), Frasier also remains a fundamentally good guy with good intentions, which is something he hopes to prove to Freddy, Eve, and his new group of friends. Ahead of the series premiere, host Kevin Frazier (Entertainment Tonight) will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Frasier, featuring interviews conducted earlier this year with the cast and series' creatives. The half-hour special, Frasier: Inside the Series, will premiere Oct. 6 on Paramount+ and will air the following day on select CBS stations nationwide. As for the series itself, the first two episodes of Frasier will premiere Oct. 12, with new episodes dropping Thursdays on Paramount+. Watch the trailer above.
