Though Bingeworthy co-host Touré readily admits that he’s not usually a Jeff Daniels fan, specifically citing his belief of a lack of realism in The Newsroom, he cannot get enough of the actor’s performance in forthcoming Netflix limited series Godless.

“Jeff Daniels is one of the great villains of modern TV — he’s so great,” Touré raves. “I love him. I am afraid of him, I’m afraid for [the women]. He’s this perfect immovable object coming right at this all-female town. I love that clash.”

While the other co-host, Jessica Shaw, doesn’t disagree with the quality of Jeff Daniels’ performance in the series, she does make an argument for cutting down the length of the show, pointing a finger at the length of some of the monologues.

“I just feel like, dial it back a little bit,” she says. “It’s all great, but you sometimes just feel like for the sake of the story, for the sake of the episode length, for the sake of the fact that this episode is an hour and 15 minutes already, cut 40 seconds out of your speech.”
