John Boyega, James Corden spoof 'The Boy Is Mine' with Jeffrey Tambor

Everyone wants a piece of John Boyega now that he’s a part of the Star Wars universe, but none more so than James Corden and Jeffrey Tambor, apparently. Tambor and Boyega, having guested on The Late Late Show Tuesday night, shot a musical parody of Brandy and Monica’s 1998 hit song “The Boy Is Mine,” which was redone as “The Boyega Is Mine.”

Donning silk pajamas, Corden calls up Tambor in the mock music video to instruct the Transparent Emmy winner to lay off his man. “No, no. He’s mine,” Tambor replied before jumping into the lyrics: “You need to give it up/ I’ve had about enough/ It’s not hard to see/ The Boyega is mine.”

The Last Jedi star grooved to the beat, sensually ate pancakes from Tambor’s fork, and enjoyed a foot massage from Corden as the two gents musically dueled over him.

“Nothing heats up a Wednesday night like silky jammies, [Jeffrey Tambor]’s honeyed vocals, and a 1990s throwback,” the official Late Late Show feed tweeted.
