The history of American media is filled with titanic clashes between forceful, creative personalities. FX recreated the rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis in the first season of Ryan Murphy’s Feud, and now Bravo is set to tackle another one: All That Glitters will explore the rivalry between Anna Wintour and Tina Brown, the network announced Monday.

Both superstar magazine editors rose to prominence in the ’90s — Wintour as editor of Vogue and Brown at Vanity Fair and The New Yorker and became pioneers in their field, though most of the show will be set in the ’80s. “All That Glitters presents the true story of the behind the scenes rivalry, relationship and remarkable ascent of pop-culture icons Tina Brown and Anna Wintour,” the network said of the six-hour series in a press release. “As both bold and driven women fight their way to the top of a male-dominated industry driven by greed and betrayal, they each find new paths to change the world around them — Tina, through the intersection of high-culture and celebrity, and Anna with an instinct for high fashion and emerging talent.”

The show will be based on Thomas Maier’s book on famed publisher Si Newhouse, Newhouse: All the Glitter, Power and Glory of America’s Richest Media Empire and the Secretive Man Behind It. Maier will serve as a producer. Gale Anne Hurd, Judith Verno, Lawrence Konner, and Mark Rosenthal will serve as executive producers. Casting has not yet been announced.
