The network unveiled its seasonal programming slate, including series premiere dates for Biel’s scripted drama The Sinner (Wednesday, Aug. 2 at 10 p.m. ET) and Deeley’s celebrity-centric game show Big Little Star (Wednesday, May 31 at 9 p.m. ET). Returning series include Suits for a seventh season (Wednesday, July 12 at 9 p.m. ET), Queen of the South for a sophomore go-round (Thursday, June 8 at 10 p.m. ET), a third season of Playing House (Friday, June 23 at 11 p.m. ET), and the return of Shooter for season 2 (Tuesday, July 18 at 10 p.m. ET). The 100th episode of Suits is slated for Aug. 30. Starring Biel (who also executive-produces) and Bill Pullman, The Sinner charts the deadly journey of a young mother (Biel) who, in a fit of unexplainable rage, seemingly kills a stranger. An inquisitive detective (Pullman) obsesses over the case, attempting to get to the bottom of the true motive behind the act. The eight-episode thriller is adapted from Petra Hammesfahr’s 2007 novel of the same name. Big Little Star sees Deeley facilitating a competition between celebrity guests, who team with their children as they “playfully test their knowledge of one another,” according to the freshman show’s synopsis.
