Anthony Anderson's mom taught him about oral sex

Black-ish star Anthony Anderson has one of the most awkward mom stories ever told to a late-night show audience, but he’s not ashamed because, as he says, “it turned out to be great knowledge.”

“I’ll just cut to the chase,” he told Conan O’Brien Wednesday night. “My mother taught me how to go downtown.” To make it perfectly clear to the shocked host as to what he was trying to say, Anderson clarified, “My momma taught me how to eat the cookie. Oral sex, Conan. Oral sex.” (“I think you should go,” O’Brien joked.)

The actor explained, “I was in my early 20s. I had just come home from college and we happened to be sitting around in the family room — not only me but buddies and their girlfriends — and she not only taught me and my brothers and my boys but also the women how to do what they needed to do.”

Anderson recalled his mom’s “very extensive video collection” and how she would “go into graphic detail as to what was happening on the video and what either me or my brothers or the young ladies should be doing.”

“Her motivation was my father didn’t know how to eat p—y,” he added. “So she said, ‘I will be damned if I send my three boys out in the world not knowing how to do that, so it is my duty as a woman to teach you to do this properly because your daddy didn’t know what the hell he was doing.'”

Andy Richter followed up, “What I want to know is if you ever told anyone afterwards, ‘My mom taught me that’?”

Anderson laughed, “I have. I would actually call my mother on the phone, and say, ‘Momma, they don’t believe you taught me this.'”
