Matt Murphy Using the rich song catalog of Huey Lewis and the News for its score, the new musical follows a group of starry-eyed twenty-somethings, including Bobby (Cott), a guitar player who's traded his rock aspirations for climbing the corporate ladder, and his boss Cassandra (Kurtz), who's been raised to put the family business first. Matt Murphy The score features hits such as "The Power of Love," "Workin' For a Livin'," and "If This Is It" with a book by Jonathan A. Abrams, from a story by Abrams and Tyler Mitchell. Gordon Greenberg directs. The show, which is produced with Lewis' blessing, will open at Broadway's James Earl Jones Theatre on April 22, following a run of previews that begin March 29.
