Ben Trivett The inaugural When We Were Young Festival happened Oct. 22-23 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, and emo/pop-punk music fans took over the entire Las Vegas Strip after Saturday's event was canceled less than an hour before it was supposed to begin due to unsafe weather conditions. The emos, knowing heartbreak as well as anyone, soldiered on to enjoy a Sunday concert that rocked on as planned.
