Watch extended Winona Ryder, Dan Levy cameos in Disney's Haunted Mansion deleted scene

Though the Haunted Mansion movie takes place at a manor inspired by Disneyland's version of the ride, EW's exclusive clip takes place at another abode based on the Disney World attraction.

Spooky Season has arrived, and happy haunts — as well as Dan Levy and Winona Ryder — are out to socialize in EW's exclusive reveal of a deleted scene from Disney's new Haunted Mansion movie.

Featuring an extended look at cameo roles played by Levy and Ryder in director Justin Simien's feature film adapted from the beloved Disneyland ride, the clip gives us a slightly deeper look at the performers' quirky tour guides inhabiting the film's Crump Manor locale.

Ryder appears at the top of the preview as Pat, a grumpy hostess who greets paranormal guide Ben (LaKeith Stanfield), Father Kent (Owen Wilson), and Travis (Chase W. Dillon) as they enter the haunted estate in search of items belonging to the nefarious Alistair Crump (Jared Leto) in order to complete a key task in their attempt to vanquish the evil spirit's ghostly presence from the nearby Gracey Manor.

After Pat beckons the trio to wait in the main hall for Vic's tour, they meet a tourist couple near a greenhouse with a key connection to the attraction's lore. Though Gracey Manor — where most of the film takes place, as a young mother (Rosario Dawson) attempts to rid her new abode of a ghoul infestation — bears the antebellum style inspired by the Disneyland iteration of the ride, Crump Manor is modeled after the colonial architecture found outside Disney World's version of the attraction. In the clip, the windows framing the characters' meeting with the tourists appear to be a direct recreation of the glass panels lining the greenhouse found along Disney World's Haunted Mansion exterior.

Simien previously told EW it was important to accurately reflect elements from the ride that guests have come to love, and he and his team painstakingly recreated the aesthetic of the storied attraction.

"We got down to the point where we were obsessing over the angle you first see the mansion when you walk onto the ride in Disneyland — when we see it through the gates and we see the pillars, that angle has to hit. That's how specific we were," Simien said. "When you first glide through the dining hall and you see the waltzing dancers, that angle had to be right, because that's the one where you gasp on the ride."

Disney's Haunted Mansion is available Oct. 4 on digital and Disney+, and Oct. 17 on Blu-Ray. Watch EW's exclusive deleted scene from the movie above.
