From Pixar’s long-awaited Incredibles 2 to a number of superhero sequels to the all-female Ocean’s 8, 2018 is ready to deliver movie magic. But out of all the amazing films set to premiere in the coming year, which are moviegoers most excited about? According to data released by Fandango on Friday, Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom top the list. The top 10 fan picks for 2018 also includes the Star Wars spin-off Solo: A Star Wars Story, A Wrinkle in Time, and X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Five of the 10 movies will be released by Disney. “The new year promises a lot of excitement at the multiplex, but fans are particularly looking forward to Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther, which boasts a groundbreaking ensemble and promises to be one of the most talked-about movies of 2018,” said Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis. Notable 2018 releases not cited by fans on the main list include Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One, Alita: Battle Angel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Pacific Rim Uprising, New Mutants, and Aquaman.
