TV What's leaving Netflix in May 2024: Split, Hunger Games, Boyz N the Hood, more It's your last chance to watch "Uncut Gems," "Noah," "St. Vincent," "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish," and more. By Dustin Nelson Published on April 29, 2024 08:00AM EDT Netflix may be welcoming big releases in May — a new season of Bridgerton, Jerry Seinfeld's Unfrosted, and John Mulaney's live comedy series, to name a few — but there are, of course, plenty of films and shows saying arrivederci throughout the month. Split, the second film in M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable trilogy, gained new life on Netflix but will be leaving on May 31. (However, the finale, Glass, remains on the service.) The complete The Hunger Games series will also be departing, as are The Great Gatsby, You've Got Mail, and the John Singleton classic Boyz N the Hood. Adam Sandler's dark Uncut Gems and not-so-dark Happy Gilmore will also be leaving the streamer, as will the Christina Aguilera-led Burlesque, which marked Cher's debut screen musical. Here's a look at everything leaving Netflix in May. James McAvoy in 'Split,' Jennifer Lawrence in 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1,' and Adam Sandler in 'Uncut Gems'.
