Get ready for more villains.

House of Villains host Joel McHale confirmed that the E! reality series will return for a second season in an interview with EW and PEOPLE on the Emmys red carpet on Sunday.

EW’s Patrick Gomez said “I hope we get more of [House of Villains],” McHale responded, “We are! We’re shooting it in February.”

Season 1 of the E! reality show saw notorious villains from various other reality shows compete for a $200,000 cash prize and the title of America's Ultimate Supervillain. The season, which concluded in December, saw Tanisha Thomas of Bad Girls Club beat the likes of Johnny Bananas (The Real World: Key West), Anfisa Arkhipchenko (90 Day Fiance), Jonny Fairplay (Survivor: Pearl Islands) Omarosa Manigault Newman (The Apprentice), and Tiffany "New York" Pollard (Flavor of Love) for the number one spot.

In the same interview, McHale told EW how much fun it was to shoot the show. “It was bananas, it was Johnny Bananas,” the Community star said. “The energy coming off of that group could power a large city. We didn’t know what was gonna happen. You get Tanisha and Johnny Bananas and Amarosa and Jonny Fairplay and it was really great.”

McHale also admitted that hosting the series took a lot of energy. “You have to have a few energy drinks before you… like Johnny Bananas even said it, like when he first stepped foot into the room with everybody, he was like ‘Oh my lord, this is the highest energy room…’ yeah, it was nuclear powered,” he said. “It was super fun. They were a really good group.”

McHale seemed to indicate that the cast for season 2 is still in flux, as he joked, “I say take the same cast and just have them continue to compete.”

On Thursday, E! confirmed the news spilled by McHale on the Emmys red carpet with an official announcement that House of Villains season 2 will air later this year. The first season of House of Villains will be available to stream on Peacock beginning Feb. 19.
