Here's how to watch The Golden Bachelor wedding special

Senior sweethearts Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are set to tie the knot after falling in love on the ABC series.

Just over a month after it was revealed that Gerry Turner got down on one knee and proposed to Theresa Nist on The Golden Bachelor season finale, the happy couple is set to tie the knot in a televised ceremony tonight on ABC.

The two-hour-long special, titled The Golden Wedding, will see Gerry, 72, and Theresa, 70, exchange vows, show off their dance skills, pay tribute to their late spouses, and maybe even play Gerry’s highly-discussed wedding playlist along the way, too. Several fellow Golden Bachelor contestants — including runner-up Leslie Fhima — will also be in attendance to witness the pair say, "I do."

When speaking about their big day on The Golden Bachelor: After the Final Rose in November, Gerry joked that time was of the essence for the pair when it came to getting married. "We're going to do it as quickly as we can, because at our age, we don't have a lot of time to waste," he teased. "So as quickly as we can put together a wedding plan, we're getting married."

Find out everything you need to know about The Golden Wedding — including how to watch — below.

How can I watch The Golden Wedding?

Viewers can see Gerry go from Golden Bachelor to Golden Groom when The Golden Wedding broadcasts live Thursday, Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Those on the West Coast will need to hold on until the show airs at 8 p.m. PT.

Will The Golden Wedding be available to stream?

Yes, but you'll have to wait a bit. Gerry and Theresa's big day will be available to stream on Hulu beginning on Friday.

Who is officiating the ceremony?

Fan-favorite Golden Bachelor competitor Susan Nist, who was sent home on episode 5, revealed that she will return to our television screens once again — this time as the officiant of Gerry and Theresa's wedding. "I guess the secret is out!" the Nuptials by Noles owner wrote on Instagram. "I’m officiating THE GOLDEN WEDDING and I’m just beyond excited!!"

In the post's comments section, Theresa thanked Susan for helping them to celebrate their big day. "We couldn’t be more thrilled to have you officiate for us, Susan!!!" she added. "Love you so much for being the wonderful woman you are and for doing this for us!!! We cannot wait!!!"

Will any of the other contestants be in attendance?

Theresa previously told EW that she and Gerry "want all of the women from The Golden Bachelor" to be present when they exchange vows, though she acknowledged at the time that "we don't know who's going to be able to make it." Still, she noted that fans can expect to see some familiar Bachelor Nation faces in attendance alongside the couple's "close family and friends" during the event.

Golden Bachelor runner-up Leslie Fhima, who was devastated by her breakup with Gerry on the finale, announced just one day before the wedding that she would indeed be attending. "I can't wait to support Gerry and Theresa on their beautiful day," the 65-year-old fitness instructor said on her Instagram Story. "I know it's going to be really, really amazing." And former contestant Kathy Swarts, 70, will attend as a "Gold Carpet Correspondent" alongside Bachelorette Charity Lawson.

Who will be part of the wedding party?

Theresa revealed that "every single member of our family" will be part of the couple's wedding party. "There's not anybody that's left out," she said. "It’s going to be a big bridal party. I have six grandsons. We have several men in our lives. We have women in our lives. Everybody will be involved."

Will Gerry and Theresa pay tribute to their late spouses?

Gerry, who lost his wife Toni after 43 years of marriage in 2017, and Theresa, whose husband William died in 2014 after 42 years together, bonded over the loss of their respective high school sweethearts on their very first solo date on the show — and plan to honor them both in their upcoming ceremony.

"We will certainly celebrate the memory of Billy and Toni in the wedding," Gerry confirmed. "We haven't decided the way that we feel is the most appropriate and the timing that is the most appropriate. But yeah, that’s part of us and part of what has made us who we are, so it'll be there."

What's on the wedding day playlist?

After recently coming under fire for his contemporary pop playlist, Gerry said he's more than happy to let Theresa take the reins when it comes to the music playing during their wedding.

"I was asked for a playlist to provide for the wedding, not the actual pieces that will be used in the wedding," he clarified. "Those things are very important, and Theresa's appreciation of music is huge. It's very important to her. She'll be making those choices. My [list] is for when we go off and get crazy and have the adult beverages."

Theresa noted that she was asked to supply 20 songs for the event, but ended up shortlisting 120 instead. "Music is really important to me. I mean, sets a mood, makes everybody happy or melancholy or sad or thoughtful. I spent a lot of time on the list," she said. "You know what? They probably won't use any of our songs."

She added that the artists that absolutely need to be on the playlist are Van Morrison (for her) and Pink (for Gerry).

The Golden Wedding airs Thursday, Jan. 4, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
