You know it's officially Emmy season when the stars start hanging out together.

Universal Studio Group hosted its annual Emmy kick-off luncheon this week in Los Angeles, where contenders including Hannah Einbinder and Carl Clemons-Hopkins (Hacks), Morgan Spector (The Gilded Age), Renée Elise Goldsberry and Sara Bareilles (Girls5eva), George Lopez and Mayan Lopez (Lopez vs. Lopez), Kaley Cuoco (Based on a True Story), Alison Brie (Apples Never Fall), Michaela Jae Rodriguez and Joel Kim Booster (Loot), and more came out to celebrate their shows and chat with press.
