Music Grammy Awards 2024: See the complete list of winners Taylor made history, Joni made us weep, and Miley forgot her panties. Here's everyone who walked away victorious on music's biggest night. By Madeline Cisneros Updated on February 5, 2024 01:47AM EST Music's biggest night finally arrived Sunday — and it actually, kinda, sorta... felt big? Trevor Noah was back for the fourth consecutive year in a row to host the 2024 Grammy Awards, which took place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, and in addition to moving standout performances from living legend Joni Mitchell (her first ever at the ceremony) and Luke Combs (who was joined by Tracy Chapman, in a rare public appearance), a staggering 94 trophies were handed out. Taylor Swift made history when her 10th studio LP, Midnights, won Album of the Year and she broke her tie with Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra to become the only artist to win the coveted honor four times. Taking the stage to accept the trophy from surprise presenter Céline Dion, she thanked her "once-in-a-generation producer" Jack Antonoff and collaborator Lana Del Rey before concluding, "For me, the award is the work." Miley Cyrus walked away with her first-ever Grammy early in the evening, when her ubiquitous self-love anthem “Flowers” snagged the award for Best Pop Solo Performance. Upon accepting the prize from her idol Mariah Carey, she declared, "This M.C. is gonna stand by this M.C. for this, because this is just too iconic." But her big win came at the end of the night when "Flowers" scooped up Record of the Year. After thanking loved ones and her team, she delivered the show's best kicker, announcing, "I don't think I forgot anyone, but I might've forgotten underwear... bye!" Other highlights: Billie Eilish's tender Barbie ballad, "What Was I Made For?," scored Song of the Year. Victoria Monét, who released our favorite track of 2023, won the coveted Best New Artist award. And SZA, who came in with nine nominations, netted Best R&B Song (for "Snooze"), Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (for "Ghost in the Machine," her collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers), and Best Progressive R&B Album (for SOS).
