But for this select group of actors, the news was even sweeter, with more than one nod to celebrate. Check out who's got multiple chances at the gold this year, and see the full list of nominees here. 02 of 08 Jason Bateman Jackson Davis/Netflix Somewhat expectedly, Bateman received his first-ever drama nomination for his leading role in Netflix's Ozark. But it wasn't the latest season of Arrested Development that made him a double-nominee — in fact, Emmy voters completely ignored that show. Instead, Bateman received a very surprising second nomination for directing Ozark's season finale, "The Toll." It's his first directing nod. 03 of 08 Jane Lynch Jane Lynch on 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel'. Nicole Rivelli/Amazon Lynch returns to the reality show host category (which she's won twice) for the fourth time for Hollywood Game Night. She was also recognized this year for her memorable comedic guest turn in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, as a brash and famous female comedian in '50s New York. (Fun fact: This is the third year Lynch has earned two Emmy noms in one year.) 04 of 08 Sterling K. Brown Ron Batzdorff/NBC Until this year, Brown has won both of the Emmys he's been nominated for. He'll have a more difficult time keeping up that perfect record this year, though: In addition to defending his title as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, for This Is Us' second season, Brown also contends as a comedy guest actor for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, for a deliciously villainous performance. 05 of 08 Donald Glover Curtis Baker/FX Yes, the Atlanta multihyphenate has done it again, earning three nominations in a single year for writing, directing, and starring in the Outstanding Comedy Series nominee (and frontrunner?). Last year, Glover won acting and directing Emmys; can he top himself this time around? He might: He's also nominated this time-around for guest-hosting SNL, too. 06 of 08 Jeff Daniels James Minchin/Netflix Daniels, who won a surprising lead actor trophy a few years ago for The Newsroom, remains well-liked by Emmy voters. He's all over the limited series races this time around: as a lead for Hulu's The Looming Tower, and a supporting player for Netflix's Godless. 07 of 08 Alex Borstein Nicole Rivelli/Amazon Borstein earned her third nomination for her work on Family Guy, this time for her voice-over of Lois Griffin as well as a collection of supporting characters. But in a nice bonus, the TV veteran also received her very first nod for a live-action performance: her key turn in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as Susie Myerson. 08 of 08 Bill Hader Michele K. Short/HBO Bill Hader's giving Donald Glover a run for his money. Seriously, the SNL alum is nominated in every category Atlanta's mastermind is competing in, from writing and directing to lead acting and comedy guest-actor (the first three for Barry; the latter for SNL). Will any of those four nods translate into victory? We'll have to wait and see.
