EW's editorial guidelines Updated on September 16, 2020 08:44PM EDT One of country music's biggest nights took place Wednesday, and performances from Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Pink, and more made the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards a celebration to remember. For the first time in the show’s history, the awards were broadcast from three different iconic Nashville venues: Grand Ole Opry House, the Ryman Auditorium, and The Bluebird Cafe. Many fans tuned in to see Swift, who returned to the ACM stage for the first time in seven years, sing her song "Betty" off her new album Folklore. The ACMs marked another first by awarding Entertainer of the Year to two acts — Underwood and Thomas Rhett. It is Underwood's third win in that category, and Rhett's first. Luke Combs and Old Dominion also won big tonight, with the former nabbing both Male Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, and the band earning Group of the Year for the third year in a row and Song of the Year. Meanwhile, Female Artist of the Year went to Maren Morris. CBS (3) See the full list of winners below.
