It's Hollywood after all, and the show must go on! The annual awards shindig, which celebrates outstanding achievement in daytime television programming, looked a little different this year, however. Instead of running online on social media or cable, as it had done since 2012, the ceremony aired live on CBS from 8 to 10 p.m. ET. In lieu of an in-person audience, the hosts — The Talk's Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underood, Eve, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Marie Osmond — as well as winners and other guests appeared from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Going into the evening, General Hospital led with 23 nominations, while Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless followed with 22 and 21, respectively.
