Mozart in the Jungle season 3 trailer: Gael Garcia Bernal heads to Italy

Now that the symphony’s under lockout, Rodrigo (Gael García Bernal) is free to do whatever he wants — so he heads to Italy, where he begins working with an opera singer (Alessandra, played by Monica Bellucci), who he seems to have quite a passionate relationship with judging by the just-released season 3 trailer.

“My heart, it has been bleeding for awhile. And I think your voice is the only thing that can save it,” Rodrigo says in the clip. Later, he tells her how much he loves her… right before she points a gun at him. Love: so fun!

Meanwhile, Hailey (Lola Kirke) is beginning to rethink her choice to go the oboe route and is considering conducting.
