Photographer Stacy Welch-Christ had the couple pose with an antique truck in the background that will be familiar to fans of the Nicholas Sparks adaptation, which starred Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling. Luckily for the Elmores, though, their relationship didn’t get off to nearly as rough a start as Allie and Noah’s — though there was a slight misunderstanding early on. Clemma asked Sterling to marry her as a joke after hearing a proposal on the radio, and he said, “yes.” Clemma tells ABC News she recalls thinking, “Oh, did he mean that? I didn’t want to ask him.
