TV Article Steven Tyler: Disney World edited Aerosmith video, singer responds By Derek Lawrence Derek Lawrence I currently write about Fast & Furious, The Office, and Will Smith. One day, I will write Hitch 2. EW's editorial guidelines Published on August 18, 2016 09:36PM EDT Photo: Gilbert Carrasquillo/FilmMagic Steven Tyler and Disney World may need to come together. The Aerosmith singer has responded to the Orlando amusement park after learning a video of the band was edited to remove what may have featured Tyler making a lewd gesture. Tyler sent a colorful tweet to Walt Disney World Thursday — accompanied by a pic where he’s making a goofy (pun fully intended) face and hand gestures, and wearing an expletive-covered hat — writing, “@WALTDISNEYWORLDSO WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU THINK THIS MEANS? IS THE HAT A DEAD GIVEAWAY? PS…SEE YOU NEXT WEEK…” Since 1999, Aerosmith has been a part of the preshow for the park’s Hollywood Studios attraction, Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster. As the ride begins, guests walk into a recording studio, where the band is performing “Walk This Way.” Now, 17 years later, the video has been edited to adjust Tyler’s hand to be a bare open palm, instead of the possibly sexually suggestive gesture. See Tyler’s tweet, which includes that NSFW language, and a video showing the before and after versions of the video, below.
