I.T.: Pierce Brosnan tech thriller release date, exclusive poster

Pierce Brosnan is facing a whole different kind of enemy in his latest film.

The former James Bond star leads up I.T., the upcoming tech thriller from A Good Day to Die Hard and Behind Enemy Lines director John Moore. EW is exclusively revealing the movie’s release date of Sept. 23, the poster, and a look at Brosnan in full vengeance mode.

I.T. centers on Mike Regan (Brosnan) a successful, self-made man who has it all. But he soon finds himself in a deadly, high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse when his I.T. consultant, Ed, starts using his skills to stalk Mike’s teenage daughter and endanger his family, his business, and his life. In a world where there is no privacy, and personal secrets can go viral by the click of a mouse, Mike needs to rely on his old connections to defeat a new kind of nemesis.

Brosnan has mostly kept up the action look since exiting the James Bond franchise after 2002’s Die Another Day, starring in The November Man, Survivor, and No Escape over the last few years. He also returned to his rom-com/Mrs. Doubtfire roots with Some Kind of Beautiful in 2014.

See the poster below. I.T., also starring Anna Friel (Limitless), Stefanie Scott (Insidious: Chapter 3), and James Frecheville (Animal Kingdom), will be released in theaters and on VOD by RLJ Entertainment on Sept. 23.
