Relativity Studios has released a new look into the upcoming supernatural thriller, starring Kate Bosworth, Thomas Jane, Annabeth Gish, Dash Mihok, and Jacob Tremblay. The trailer, which can be seen above, spotlights the story of Jessie (Bosworth) and Mark (Jane), who become foster parents to 8-year-old Cody (Tremblay) after the death of their son, Sean. Visions of their first son bring hope to the family, but visions of nefarious creatures become reality. Cody has the unspeakable ability to manifest his dreams into reality as he sleeps, causing the new parents to react in joy. However, as time goes on, Cody’s nightmares also take form, leaving the family exposed to the danger of the young boy’s mind. Mike Flanagan wrote the script and will also direct. He earned his horror credit after his independent hit Hush and theatrical release Oculus. Before I Wake hits theaters on Sept. 9.
