Angora Rice, the breakout actress from Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe’s The Nice Guys, has joined the upcoming web-slinging reboot Spider-Man: Homecoming, EW has confirmed.

The 15-year-old will star in the film opposite Tom Holland, who plays the new Peter Parker/Spider-Man, a role he first tackled in May’s Captain America: Civil War. The Australian actress is the latest addition to the already star-studded cast of the Sony and Marvel reboot of the franchise, including Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton, Marisa Tomei, Donald Glover, Logan Marshall-Green, Martin Starr, Zendaya, and Michael Mando.

Director Jon Watts is stepping away from his horror/thriller background (Cop Car, Clown) to direct the next iteration of the Spider-Man mythos. Writing partners Jonathan M. Goldstein (Horrible Bosses) and John Francis Daley (Bones, Freaks and Geeks) wrote the script with character credit to Marvel alums Steve Ditko and Stan Lee.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is expected to swing into theaters July 7, 2017.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported the casting news.
