The complete library of Albert Brooks films will begin streaming on Netflix this Friday, the multi-hyphenate announced in a tongue-in-cheek video.

In the clip, Brooks addressed the fact that most young people might only know him as the voice of the neurotic fish Marlin in Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, but aside from his voiceover work, Brooks has enjoyed four decades of success in Hollywood as an actor, writer, and director.

“I’m thrilled that younger viewers who might only know me as Marlin, the adorable clownfish from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, can now see that I have in fact had a very interesting life out of the water,” Brooks said.

As the video continues, Brooks jokes that he secured the Netflix deal after kidnapping the child of one of the streaming service’s employees: “In this case, picking the right child from the right executive had a very good result.”

The Albert Brooks films being added to Netflix include all of the works he has both written and directed, such as Defending Your Life, Modern Romance, Lost in America, and Real Life, among others. The will be available to stream starting this Friday, July 1.
