Ever since Caitlyn Jenner announced her transition, we've wondered when she would write her inevitable memoir — and as of Tuesday, we finally have an answer.

Jenner, with the help of Buzz Bissinger, author of Jenner's now-iconic Vanity Fair cover story, will release her memoir with Grand Central Publishing, the publisher announced in a release. The book is slated for a Spring 2017 publication.

"Things have been moving so quickly that it will be nice to slow things down a bit and take the proper time to reflect on this journey," Jenner said. "I couldn't pick a better team, in Grand Central and Buzz, to make sure this story is told with a lot of honesty and care."

"I elected to do this with Caitlyn because of the opportunity to create a book that will be riveting, important, and reveal all the complexities and twists and turns of her life from boyhood to transition," said Bissinger. "We both agree that nothing can be left out in capturing this unique and unprecedented journey. This is her story, and I am proud to play a role in telling it with grace and candor."

Jenner also tweeted about the news and said, "Thrilled to reunite with my friend Buzz Bissinger. Honored that he's telling my full story."

Jenner, a former Olympian and current star of E!'s I Am Cait, was given the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPYs,named Barbara Walters' "Most Fascinating Person of 2015," and was shortlisted for TIME‘s Person of the Year.

Bissinger is the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist behind the book Friday Night Lights.
