While presenting the Golden Globe for best original score, Foxx announced Straight Outta Compton as the winner. The problem? Straight Outta Compton wasn’t even nominated in the category. “I’m sorry folks, I made a mistake,” Foxx joked. “It’s right here on the card.” The winner was Ennio Morricone for The Hateful Eight. That’s a reference, of course, to Harvey’s now-infamous gaffe at the Miss Universe pageant last year. Harvey announced Miss Colombia as the winner, but it was actually Miss Philippines. Gervais’ opening monologue include digs at Caitlyn Jenner, Jennifer Lawrence, Sean Penn, and Roman Polanski.
