DJ Khaled Snapchats jet ski adventure

DJ Khaled’s jump to visual social media has been one of the most entertaining turns of the year; the producer’s Snapchat game is A-plus worthy. He shared a video last week filled with his key motivational sayings — who could forget “I took the whole door off, and the hinges, and I put it in the f–kboy’s hands. You can put the hinges on the hands, too” — but his most recent outing was far more harrowing.

Khaled went jet skiing in Miami on Monday and documented the experience on Snapchat. First, the “All I Do is Win” artist stopped by rapper Rick Ross’ home via his aquatic automobile, as we all do. (Note: All videos feature NSFW language.)

But then dusk turned to dark, and Khaled expressed some concerns. “It’s dark, and in a minute, there ain’t gonna be no lights to navigate us to where we need to go,” he said at the start of his journey. But the video progresses to darker and darker surroundings. Khaled never lost his optimism. “The key is to make it,” he assured. “The key is never give up. It’s not easy to win: I know that.”

Fortunately, he got home in one piece and offered his own advice from the adventure.

“We made it,” Khaled said at the conclusion of his odyssey. “They never said it was easy to win.”

Don’t worry about him being scared off: He jumped back on the water saddle Tuesday.
