EW's editorial guidelines Published on November 29, 2015 06:19PM EST Photo: TV Land After Liza (Sutton Foster) came clean about her age to Josh (Nico Tortorella) in Younger‘s season finale, the two are getting hot and heavy in the first look at season 2. “There’s a lot that happens in season 2,” Tortorella says in a behind-the-scenes trailer featuring the first footage of what’s to come. “We basically have to, like, set up grounds for an entire new relationship.” While we see Josh still grappling over the age gap, there’s also Charles (Peter Hermann) waiting in the wings and Kelsey (Hilary Duff) still in ignorant bliss. “As we’re heading into season 2, Liza is still being able to pull off this lie,” Foster says. “As her relationships with all the different characters grow and become more and more real, it makes it even harder for her to keep going…The reasons why she needs to keep going are growing stronger as well, so it sort of validates her choices.” Younger‘s second season debuts with a one-hour premiere on TV Land on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 10 p.m.
