FX, FXX premiere schedule: American Crime Story, more, announced

American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson will make its debut this February, FX announced Thursday.

The limited series – starring John Travolta, Sarah Paulson, David Schwimmer, Nathan Lane, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Courtney B. Vance – is set to premiere Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 10 p.m. ET on FX. Based on Jeffrey Toobin’s The Run of His Life: The People V. O.J. Simpson, the 10-part miniseries offers a behind-the-scenes look at the trial of O.J. Simpson for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

And Zach Galifianakis’ Chip Baskets is ready to make his dreams of becoming a French clown come true in the new comedy, Baskets – but he’ll have to settle for being a rodeo clown first. (“Baskets” wasn’t the stage name Chip had in mind either). Co-created by Galifianakis, Louis C.K., and Jonathan Krisel, Baskets premieres on Thurs., Jan. 21 at 10 p.m. ET on FX.

Additionally, FX networks announced the award-winning drama The Americans will return for its fourth season this March on FX. (The exact premiere date has yet to be released.)

And the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia gang is back for season 11 on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. ET on FXX, while the Jay Baruchel-starring comedy Man Seeking Woman arrives at FXX for a second season on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 10:30 p.m. ET. Expect even more awkward moments for Baruchel’s Josh Greenberg in the dating department (not to mention a love triangle).
