Nope, that’s absolutely absurd. (Although one Rob Lowe smile packs enough wattage to short out an entire city.) Nevertheless, Fox’s play-by-play announcer Joe Buck was reading a promo for the new Fox comedy starring Lowe and Fred Savage when the network’s broadcast truck lost power and the game was delayed for seven minutes. Buck joked about “the curse of Rob Lowe and Fred Savage,” prompting the lead Grinder stars to hit back at him and his beard in a video that aired during Game 2.
