Agent Carter has already picked up a few new faces for its upcoming second season, and on Thursday, Marvel announced one more.

Kurtwood Smith (Resurrection, That ‘70s Show) has joined the series as Vernon Masters, a savvy War Department veteran.

“When we were developing the character of Vernon Masters, we wrote it with [Smith] in mind,” executive producers Tara Butters, Chris Dingess, and Michele Fazekas said in the announcement from Marvel. “We just never thought we could actually get him. Thankfully, we were wrong.”

Peggy (Hayley Atwell) is leaving New York for the glamour of Hollywood in the new season. “But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love,” Marvel’s description reads, “she’s about to find out that the bright lights of postwar Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.”

In addition to Atwell, James D’Arcy, Enver Gjokaj, and Chad Michael Murray are all slated to return for season 2, and supporting players Dominic Cooper and Bridget Regan will reprise their roles as well.

The second season of Marvel’s Agent Carter will air midseason on ABC.
